The Barn at Silverstone is a sanctuary built by hand and refined by experience. Alongside my parents, Nick and I personally restored this historic 1800s estate to serve as the venue for our own wedding in 2015. But our celebration was only the blueprint. For the past decade, we have obsessed over every detail, continuously upgrading the physical spaces, streamlining the operational logistics, and elevating our planning technology. Every enhancement to the estate is driven by a single goal: to build the exact, flawless experience we wished we had on our own day. The 2015 Catalyst
When we first stepped onto the property, we saw past the weathered beams and forgotten spaces of the original 1800s stone bank barn. We saw our future. Over months of relentless, hands-on restoration alongside my parents (Antoni & Lorin Wortel), we poured our hearts into transforming the historic structure into a breathtaking architectural masterpiece for our own wedding day. That process didn't just rebuild a barn; it ignited a lifelong passion for luxury hospitality. We realized that preserving the soul of this historic estate, while infusing it with a clean, modern aesthetic, could offer other couples a truly unrivaled, sophisticated destination.
02 | A DECADE OF REFINEMENT
The Pursuit of Perfection
Our own wedding was not the finish line; it was the blueprint. For the past decade, we have evaluated every square inch of the 37-acre estate through the lens of a bride and groom. We continuously upgraded the property to eliminate the logistical stress we experienced, adding high-end climate control, installing a backup generator, and creating distinct, dedicated buildings for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We engineered the estate so that no couple would ever have to endure a stressful "room flip" while their guests waited.
